I'm Lauren, a children's book illustrator (published under the name Lo Harris) who recently moved to Montague with my husband. I've illustrated two picture books and I'm working on my third. I love doing creative activities with kids, like drawing together, making up stories, writing poems, and helping them express themselves through art. Caregiving has always been part of my life. Growing up, I helped care for my brother, who is on the autism spectrum, while my mom worked. I got us ready for school, helped with homework, and learned how to meet each child where they are. I'm especially comfortable with neurodivergent kids. I have a big, warm personality, and I'm excited to get to know families in my new community while supporting my art.
