Hi! I’m Makayla, and I’ve loved working with children for as long as I can remember. Being the person my family and friends trust to babysit has always been something I enjoy. I started babysitting in 6th grade, caring for my three cousins for two years who were 8, 11, and 12 years old. Since then, I’ve also babysat for a family friend’s children, ages 3 and 11, over two summers. I love being a sitter because I enjoy building connections with kids through conversation, games, activities, and cooking together. Seeing them smile, have fun, and feel comfortable around me is the most rewarding part of the job. I take pride in creating a safe, positive, and caring environment where children can feel happy and supported.
