Hi! I'm Melina, and I love being a sitter because it allows me to create a fun, supportive, and engaging environment for children. I’ve been babysitting since I was around 14, caring for kids I knew growing up, and I still occasionally babysit for my sisters, cousins, and friends when I go back to Florida. Although I’m currently working with adults as a psychotherapist, I’ve worked with children extensively in therapy, helping families through family therapy and engaging with kids in ways that support their emotional and developmental needs. While I don’t know many children here in New York City yet, I’m eager to reconnect with my love for working with kids in a lighthearted, fun way. Whether it’s playing, reading, or just keeping your child entertained, I’m here to provide a safe and joyful experience. I also tutor independently, so I’m comfortable assisting with homework or other learning activities.
