Ciao! My name is Ana Iova Nichols. I am a Romanian American who lives in the Manheim, PA area. I am 18 years old and just came back from a 6 month humanitarian trip, firstly to help with the Maui fires from September-December and secondly to do disaster relief and helping at a foster system in Japan after the earthquake from December-March. I am a member of Vineyard Church Chester Springs and I graduated from Veritas Academy in Leola in May 2023. I am currently enrolled in the Templeton Honors College at Eastern University as a Nursing Student. As well as babysitting for a few close family/church friends, I have been a teacher in my Church’s toddler classroom for 3 years now. I am also going into my 4th summer of staffing at Woodcrest Retreat, where I have been taking care of kids ages 6-14 years old. I also volunteer Read more at Villages of Hope back in Maui, which is a foster care system for children ages 5-10. I am fluent in Romanian, English, and Spanish and love to cook, surf, kayak, hike, and play/write music on my guitar! I enjoy being a babysitter because it allows me to be a positive influence in children's lives, fostering their development and creating meaningful connections.
