I'm a newborn care specialist, a former professional nanny, and a small business owner and a Mom to a wonderful teenage son. I specialize in newborn and infant care. I took a hiatus from caring for babies for many years while raising my own son and practicing law full time - but last year I decided to find a truly joyful activity to add into my life - and caring for newborns and infants has always been a pure joy to me and something I have missed deeply since my days nannying. Regarding my childcare experience - since returning to newborn and infant care part time last year. I completed updated coursework this spring to recertify as a newborn care specialist, and have had the privilege and joy to care for several babies locally, ranging in age from 4 days old - 11 months old.
