Hello! I am an energetic and confident individual who has over four years of experience caring for children, from toddlers to teenagers. I do have my Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification and am planning on renewing it later in June. My passion for spending time with youth started when I was just 15, from babysitting my little cousins to nannying for local families in the summer. Along with being energetic, I am fun, dependent, and patient. I enjoy spending time outside, whether that is playing sports, visiting parks, or going to one of the many lakes in Minnesota. This summer I will be a senior at Hamline University and am majoring in Psychology and Criminology and Criminal Justice. After graduating, I am planning on attending St. Mary's University to attain my M.A. in Counseling Psychology to become a child therapist/counselor! I have worked with youth in the past at Read more summer sports camps, tutoring/mentoring programs, and after-school activities. Currently, I am a reading and math tutor at an elementary school near my college and I have worked at an after-school recreational program for middle-school and high-school youth for over 2 1/2 years so I am well-experienced in creating and planning fun and safe activities for a variety of ages. I am a very easy-going person and am more than happy to help out with errands, light housekeeping, pet care, meals, and transportation. I believe children can teach us a lot about ourselves, and I hope to foster a safe environment for them to grow in and be themselves with some guidance and structure.
