Hello!! My name is Isabel, and I am a social work student currently studying at NMSU with a love for being there for others. I love being a sitter because kids remind me to be playful, silly, and present in the moment. Through my life as well as schooling, I understand that every child is unique, and I love helping them feel safe, heard, and supported no matter what. Whether we're painting, playing games, or just talking about their day, I will make sure that each child will feel respected and safe with me. For the summer, I am looking to babysit as well as work at a local clay shop, so I’m always ready to bring some hands-on, artistic fun to our time together. My hours would somewhat need to be flexible because I work Tuesdays and Thursdays at the clay shop. I also have some experience with housesitting, Read more teaching art activities, and working with kids from a variety of backgrounds. My background in social work helps me approach every situation with patience, empathy, and understanding. I also love pets! I have a dog named Poppy and a cat named Jiffy at my home. I try and bring a calm yet fun, reliable energy to the homes I work in. I would also be happy to help with keeping regular routines, chores, and creative play. I am currently working at getting my CPR license as well. I own a car and am familiar with child-friendly places around town! I would charge $18-$22 an hour as well. I am a responsible/dependable sitter who cares, and I’d love to meet you and your family!
