I have over 5 years of experience caring for children, including in-home babysitting and volunteering in my church’s nursery. As the oldest of four children, I’ve also helped care for my siblings. I have experience with infants through middle school-aged children, as well as caring for multiple children at once. My responsibilities have varied depending on the role, but they’ve included overall care of the children, changing diapers and preparing bottles, making simple meals, engaging children in fun and educational activities, following routines and schedules, tidying up after them, implementing lesson plans, communicating with parents, and more. I also have experience caring for children with special needs, including Autism. I truly love working with children because I enjoy seeing the world through their eyes — it keeps things fun and unpredictable in the best way.
