Hi family! My name is Skyliya (pronounced Sky-Lee-yuh), and I have over 5 years of professional experience working with children across Rhode Island. I’ve cared for kids of all ages, from infants to teens, and I’m comfortable supporting a wide range of needs and personalities. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and I have training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). I currently work as a behavior technician, where I support children in developing communication, social, and daily living skills. One of the most rewarding parts of my work has been supporting children with special needs and helping them grow in confidence and independence. My experience includes working in early intervention clinics, schools, and group home settings, which has helped me become patient, adaptable, and attentive to each child’s unique needs. Outside of work, I love singing, doing arts and crafts, and cooking activities I enjoy sharing with the children Read more I care for. I also enjoy spending time at the beach to recharge. I’m passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children can learn and thrive.
