Hi! My name is Avery, and I’m currently looking for a summer babysitting position available now through the end of July. I’m currently a student at Troy university and will be going into my junior next fall. My major is Elementary Education k-6. I am hoping to teach 2nd grade!! I have 4 years of hands-on experience working in a daycare setting, where I cared for children ranging in age from 1 to 7 years old. I’m fully comfortable with diaper changes, meal prep, bath time, and all the day-to-day routines that help kids feel safe and happy. Last fall, I also helped with school pickup and after-school care for two older kids (ages 13 and 15), so I’m happy to assist with light supervision or transportation needs for teens as well. I’m allergic to cats, but it’s not severe — I can still be in a home with them Read more for short periods as long as there’s some notice and the environment is reasonably clean. In addition to childcare, I’m also happy to help with household chores, pet care (for non-cats), running errands, and general tidying up.
