Meet Shawn Marie

I have 10+ years of experience in child care. During my early teen years, I cared for my three younger siblings. In college, I did not babysit however I did create a mentor program to connect Lincoln Christian college students (including myself) and kids in the community. After we moved back to this area, I ran an afterschool program with kids ranging from K-8th grade. This program led to a couple of families asking me to watch their kids during the summer months. My most recent babysitting experience was in April/May. I had the privilege to watch my little 11 month old nephew. My sister and her family moved out of state so sad to say, I no longer watch him. Although, we do facetime one another on a weekly basis and he still recognizes and interacts with me from afar. My sister asks on a regular basis if I Read more would consider moving closer so she has a trusted sitter (she is looking for a sitter too) but we are here for now. I understand my sisters concerns and other mothers concerns for finding someone to care for their child. I would love to meet with you and answer any questions you may have for me.
