Hi! I’m an experienced childcare professional and nursing student with a strong background in both childcare and patient care. I started working with children at 15 years old at a gym daycare, where I cared for children while also helping organize birthday parties and summer camps. I later worked as a lifeguard and taught swim lessons to children ages 2–6, which helped me develop a strong focus on safety, patience, and creating a fun environment for kids. I have several years of nannying experience. I cared for a 6- and 8-year-old for two years, and later nannied for a 6-month-old, 5-year-old, and 6-year-old for a year. My responsibilities included school drop-offs and pickups, caring for the youngest child throughout the day, and creating a safe and nurturing routine for the children. Currently, I work in a hospital as a Patient Care Technician. I spent a year working on an ICU Read more step-down unit and now float between all units at hospitals in Newark and Wilmington. I specialize in feeding, bathing, and ambulating patients, and I am BLS and CPR certified. My healthcare experience has strengthened my ability to remain calm, attentive, and dependable in situations where safety and care are the top priorities. I’m also matriculating toward my Bachelor of Nursing and will be beginning online school again in September, with an expected graduation date of 2028. I’m currently open to **daytime hours and occasional evening shifts**. I’m flexible on weekends as well, but I do need weekend availability to be communicated several months in advance.
