Hi there! My name is Kaitlyn. I am in my 30s, married, and have two boys, ages 9 and 7. I have been babysitting for over 25 years and have cared for children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers. I also have extensive experience with children with special needs. Within those 25 years, I have been a nanny both full-time and part-time. I am also trained as a birth doula through DONA International and would love to help out with any birth/postpartum care, including overnight newborn/infant support. I love to take kiddos to fun activities every day, including local library programs, playgroups, playground play dates, and other fun activities happening around the area daily. A bit more about me: I grew up northern VA and moved to Austin 5 years ago. As a mother, I love living here because I am able to take advantage of the plethora of Read more children’s activities and expose my children to a wonderful culture-rich and diverse area. I have a BS in Communications from Ithaca College and a Master's of Public Health from The George Washington University. Prior to receiving my Master's degree, I worked at a non-profit fighting drunk driving and underage drinking. I’ve worked part-time in Public Health jobs since having my children and am now working to get my lactation consultant certification. My favorite job is caring for children and I am looking forward to babysitting/nannying again while I work on my certification. I look forward to the opportunity to meet with you and your child or children! References available upon request.
