Hello! My name is Jocelyn, and I am a high school student with a big passion for working with children. Even though I am still in high school, I am currently earning college credit toward my Bachelor’s degree in Education through a dual credit internship program. I co-teach kindergarten and have also helped co-teach Pre-K and Special Education. I will be graduating high school early in February and am saving up for college in August, which is why babysitting is such a great fit for me. I love being a sitter because I truly enjoy spending time with children and helping them learn and grow in a fun and caring way. Kids bring so much joy and creativity, and I love building connections with them while making sure they feel safe, supported, and happy. Babysitting never feels like just a job to me — it feels meaningful and rewarding. I Read more have hands-on experience working with children of different ages and abilities. Through my classroom experience, I have learned how to be patient, responsible, and flexible. I am comfortable following routines, helping with meals and bedtime, assisting with homework, and keeping kids engaged with games, crafts, and reading. I also have training in child development, classroom safety, and positive behavior guidance through my education program. Parents can feel confident knowing their children are in caring and capable hands. I am dependable, enthusiastic, and excited to continue working with families while preparing for my future as an elementary school teacher.
