I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy being around kids and helping them feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. I’m currently studying Child Development, so working with children is something I’m already really interested in and want to continue learning more about. I like being able to keep kids entertained, help with routines, and be someone both the child and parent can feel comfortable with. I have experience caring for children as well as providing hands-on care for an adult with disabilities. Through that experience, I’ve learned how important patience, communication, responsibility, and paying close attention to someone’s needs are. I help with things like meals, medications, hygiene, mobility, basic household chores, and making sure the environment stays safe. Some of my strongest skills are patience, staying calm, being dependable, preparing simple meals, cleaning up after activities, helping with basic routines, and keeping a close eye on safety.
