I am a recent high school graduate and am committed to KU in Lawrence for psychology with a focus on childhood development. I am excited for this new journey because I am able to blend my joy for caretaking with education, two things I consider very important. I had worked at a daycare in a church for a year, mainly infant and toddler age, but I have significant experience around school-age children from younger siblings and relatives. I love being a sitter because I am able to make a positive impact by creating a safe, fun and supporting experience. I also love babysitting because children have a unique sense of joy and curiosity that is refreshing to be around. Being able to foster that in a healthy, supportive environment is incredibly rewarding, and I enjoy helping them build confidence, learn new things, and feel safe while having tons of fun.
