Hi! My name is Maya, and I’m currently a Respiratory Therapy student at the University of Hartford with a strong passion for helping and caring for others. I’m CPR, AED, and First Aid certified for both adults and children, and I bring a calm, responsible, and patient approach to every family I work with. I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy creating positive relationships with children and being someone they can feel safe and comfortable around. I enjoy helping kids learn, grow, and have fun while also giving parents peace of mind knowing their children are in good hands. I find it rewarding to support families and create a caring, dependable environment for children of all ages. My experience comes from both my healthcare education and my professional background working in fast-paced environments that require patience, communication, and responsibility. Through my studies in respiratory therapy, anatomy, physiology, and Read more patient care, I’ve learned how to stay calm under pressure, prioritize safety, and care for others compassionately. In my role at T.J. Maxx, I’ve gained strong customer service, multitasking, and problem-solving skills while managing responsibilities efficiently and professionally. Some of the skills and training I bring include Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification, excellent communication skills, time management, problem-solving, teamwork, and attention to detail. I’m dependable, organized, and committed to providing a safe, supportive, and fun environment for every child I care for.
