Hello! My name is Gwen, I'm a third-year Family and Human Services student at UO. Currently, my classes are focused on childhood development and caregiver-child interactions. I've worked with large (10+) groups of kids aged 3-16 for the past three years at a climbing gym, where I taught my students the basics of safe climbing and joyful exercise. I'm Basic Life Support certified by the American Heart Association, which includes CPR, First Aid, and AED use. I have my own reliable car, and I'm willing to drive. I'm most comfortable working with kiddos above 6, but I'll happily make exceptions on a case-by-case basis. I'm taking a full course load at the University, as well as a leadership role for the UO Climbing Team, but I would love to make room in my schedule for the right family. I'm the most free on weekday afternoons. In my free time, I Read more love getting outside, baking, and sewing. I would love the opportunity to take kids outside for age-appropriate activities, but I'm also comfortable performing daily tasks like homework help, cleaning, and cooking/baking.
