I have been a nanny for eleven years, all of it in Chester County and northern Delaware. Three families, and two of them kept me about three years each. Newborn through teenager, and I have had four children at once. What I actually do is real meals instead of snacks, the same routine every day so kids know what is coming next, and outside time whenever the weather allows. Arts and crafts, puzzles, and a park over a screen. My last position started as nanny work and grew into running the household, so meals, family laundry, errands, the calendar and their pets. I have two dogs of my own and animals are easy for me. Two things I am upfront about. My CPR and first aid lapsed and I am recertifying this month, and my Pennsylvania clearances are in progress right now.
