Hi, I'm Emily. I am an energetic and enthusiastic person with a genuine passion for caring for children. Although, I am new to child care on a professional level, I have helped take care of my nieces and nephews throughout all the stages of their lives. With 10 and counting, it's safe to say I've changed plenty of diapers! From soothing teething pain to putting down fussy babies for a nap; I've got methods for almost everything. Enrichment and exposure to new things are critical for early development so I am sure to always be intentional with how we play and pass our time. Babies are sponges and it's a joy to watch them learn about the world around them. I'd love to take your child on field trips to the zoo, the library, the Children's Museum and especially to the park. I'll also make sure to practice speech and Read more to model proper emotional intelligence; I want to help your little one be the very best they can be. I currently work as a Patient Observer through University Hospitals. I work night shift twice a week and I make my own schedule so I can always be available with enough notice. As a Patient Observer I babysit high risk patients like behavioral psych patients and patients that suffer from dementia. I've professionally baby sat adults for a living and now I'm ready to give children a try. I am BLS certified and I always have a first aid kit in my car.
