Hi! My name is Shayna I’m a 2026 Charlotte High graduate, and I have a genuine passion for working with children of all ages. I love creating a fun, safe, and supportive environment where kids can learn, play, and feel comfortable while giving parents peace of mind. I have experience as a camp counselor with the Military Heritage Museum Summer Camp and have spent many summers babysitting my cousins’ children from infancy as they’ve grown. I’m comfortable caring for children of all ages, from newborns to teens, and I’m happy to do whatever is needed; from helping with homework, preparing bottles, diaper changes (even blowouts!), meals, bedtime routines, and keeping little ones entertained. I also have experience working with children of all abilities, including those with special needs and different behavioral needs. I founded my high school’s Best Buddies chapter to promote inclusion for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities Read more and served as a Big Brothers Big Sisters mentor. I’m CPR and first aid certified, dependable, patient, organized, and have reliable transportation, so I can help with school pickups, activities, or errands if needed.
