Hi! My name is Koi (like the fish), and I truly love being a sitter because caring for children has always come naturally to me. I find so much joy in helping little ones learn, grow, and feel safe, and I enjoy creating fun, positive experiences that families can count on. I bring a strong background in childcare and education. I completed a year-long teacher internship at Pleasant Grove Elementary School, where I had the opportunity to work in every grade level. This experience gave me hands-on skills in classroom management, creating engaging activities, and supporting children with different learning styles. On top of that, I took Early Childhood Education for all four years of high school, which helped me build a solid foundation in child development, safety, and age-appropriate teaching strategies. I also maintain a full teaching portfolio, which includes all of my teaching certifications. In addition, I have Read more CPR and First Aid certifications, and I plan to have them renewed soon to ensure I’m always prepared and up-to-date on safety practices. Outside of formal training, I get plenty of real-life experience too, I have three godsons, all under the age of one, who I consistently babysit. Caring for infants regularly has helped me become confident with feeding routines, diaper changes, soothing techniques, and understanding each baby’s individual needs. Overall, I’m reliable, patient, and passionate about what I do. I look forward to providing families with safe, trustworthy, and loving care.
