Meet Marianna

Hi! My name is Marianna, and I absolutely love working with children. I have over 5 years of professional childcare experience in daycare settings, 3 years of experience working with children with autism and other special needs as a Registered Behavior Technician, and 1 year of experience working with youth in residential treatment settings. I also ran my own babysitting service for 4 years while I was in high school, so caring for children has been a big part of my life for many years. I have the most experience and feel especially comfortable working with children on the autism spectrum and children with other developmental or behavioral needs. My background has taught me how to be patient, attentive, flexible, and calm while still making sure children feel safe, understood, and able to have fun. I'm happy to help with all the everyday things that come with childcare, including preparing Read more meals and snacks, potty training, bath and bedtime routines, homework help, laundry, tidying up after the kids, arts and crafts, outdoor play, reading, and creating age-appropriate activities. Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy being around kids and love getting to know their personalities and interests.
