I'm a mom of two girls I raised myself while working full-time — school runs, meals, homework, bedtime, the whole operation — and a former university professor with a PhD in economics who has been teaching since 2008. But here's the truth: after all those years teaching teenagers and adults, the youngest students are still the best ones. Kids have no bad assumptions and infinite curiosity. (Fair warning: if yours like building things, expect a spaghetti-tower challenge — in my experience, pre-K kids beat lawyers and engineers every single time.) I'm fully bilingual in Spanish and English, and I love weaving both into everyday play — plus real help with homework, reading, and math when it's needed. I'm calm under pressure (nothing a child has done has ever rattled me), punctual to the minute, and I take the trust you're placing in me seriously. I'd love to meet your family.
