I am currently a sophomore in college pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, but I’ve always had a heart for working with children. I love getting to know their unique personalities and being part of their growth journey. This past summer, I worked as a day camp counselor for the YMCA, where I followed daily schedules, led activities, and helped kids create lasting memories—all while keeping them safe and supported. Before that, I spent about two years working in an in-home childcare setting, and I’ve also volunteered for 5–6 years in children’s ministry at my home church. In addition, I’ve been babysitting for families for around 3 years, gaining experience with children of different ages. Along the way, I’ve also helped with household tasks such as cleaning, pet care, and meal prep.
