Work Experience: Micheal Phelps Swimming for 1 year where I taught ages 3-12 how to swim. Volunteered on Sundays at church daycare for 1 year where I worked with ages 3-5. Current jobs: Watching twin little siblings that are two years old after school everyday, Working at Tim Hortons. Skills: Can build awesome pillow/ couch fort. Expired Redcross lifeguard certification. Earliest Starting Date: June 15th Latest Ending Date: September 3rd I looking for a full time nanny job over the summer. I like working with kids because it brings me joy. I will be attending ECC for early childhood education. Spending time with children also helps me to better understand their view of the world and their learning needs. I started working with children 3 years ago as a Swim Instructor. However, the experience I got from my taking care of my little siblings has been much more beneficial. A Read more little over two years ago my parents had twins. Helping my parents with my siblings has given me the skills and confidence needed to be a great nanny. In my spare time, I enjoy nature, taking walks, dancing, playing with my little siblings, listening to music and hanging out with my friends. One thing you should know about me is that I am a firm believer that young children should not be utilizing screens for entertainment purposes. Screens harm the development of their prefrontal cortex. I work to engage children in creative play to help grow their imaginations and critical thinking skills.
