Hi! I’m Liz 😊 I’m 21 and originally from Lake Placid, NY. I have experience caring for children of all ages, and my love for childcare started with my three nieces (soon to be four!) and my 2-year-old nephew who is truly my little best friend 🧸 I offer both occasional and regular childcare as well as pet care and can help with homework, light meal prep, tidying, laundry, and errands. I have reliable transportation and love getting kids out of the house for fresh air—whether that’s park trips, outdoor adventures, beach days, or cozy play at home depending on the day. I understand how important consistency is for kids, so I’m very comfortable sticking to established routines including naps, meals, learning time, and bedtime schedules. I am attentive to dietary needs, respectful of household rules, and take allergies and safety very seriously so parents can feel fully at ease. Read more I’m a huge animal lover, so pets are always a bonus in my book 🐾 Your furry family members will get just as much love and attention. Outside of babysitting, you can usually find me exploring the Adirondacks with my dogs, baking something sweet, doing crafts, reading, or spending time with my nephew. With kids, I love arts and crafts, coloring (not on the walls lol 🎨), imaginative play, reading books together, outdoor time, and embracing the silly moments like watching the same shows and listening to the same songs on repeat. I’m also happy to sing along to Miss Rachel all day… and occasionally in my dreams too 😂 I know being away from your child can feel hard, so I always provide updates, photos, and little check-ins throughout the day so you feel reassured, involved, and connected. I take pride in creating a safe, patient, fun, and comforting environment where kids feel happy, supported, and excited for our time together while parents feel confident they made the right choice 💛 References are available upon request.
