Hello! I’m A’morie Brown, a 19 year old film student at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with a real love for working with kids and helping them grow. I’ve been a Teacher Cadet at Mount tabor Highschool, a Teaching Assistant at Speas Elementary, and even worked at Dave & Buster’s in the Winner’s Circle, where I helped kids who came in without adults, made sure they felt safe, and had fun. I’ve spent time reading to kids in local schools, helping students with math, and supporting children with special needs as they transition into public school. On top of that, I’m working on my CDA certification so I can keep building my skills in early childhood education. I’m super hands-on, patient, and love finding creative ways to connect with kids, whether that’s through storytelling, tutoring, or just being a safe, encouraging presence. My dream is to Read more one day open my own theatre and film program for children, especially those from underserved communities. I want to create a space where kids can express themselves, explore their creativity, and feel confident in their voices through acting and storytelling.
