I’ve been blessed to care for friends and family’s children throughout my years as a stay at home mom. In more recent years I cared for my own beloved grandchildren following their births until school age and then after school care. Until relocating from California to back to (Elizabeth) Illinois where ai enjoy many friends and family. My professional background includes property care and a decade of remodeling/redesigning interiors. After retiring, I continued to share my days with grandbabies, preschoolers and occasional preteens after school care. I prefer local Elizabethan or local children to enjoy care within my own home but will consider all circumstances. My home is conveniently located across the street from at a school bus stop. I’m happy to serve healthy afternoon snacks you or I provide and also a place for play and homework. My cottage home is small. So I plan to limit care to Read more 2 children per day. This can be achieved part time or full via various schedules. My children are grown with children of their own now. I have great empathy for parents trying to stay employed. As such, I will consider all schedules and flexibility needs. I believe it’s most important to stress that I am a happy, caring and flexible person looking forward to helping with your family needs whenever possible. This program provides some background security but I will easily pass any background checks and can provide many positive references. Our kids are precious! Time flies - In the meantime, I’m happy to be part of creating loving grandma-esque memories together!
