Hi! My name is Julia and I absolutely love working with kids. Ever since my first job as an after school counselor at the YMCA I have found it is incredibly rewarding to create a fun, and nurturing environment where children can learn new things in new ways. I'm extremely creative and fairly accomplished in art and culinary skills. My interest is not to entertain kids with excessive screen time and just to keep them occupied. I would like to utilize the style of childhood development that incorporates real world activities, teaching them hands on how to develop life skills in a fun way. I would also love to help them express themselves through art and also developing a palate that will enable them to be healthy. I've spent some time in Europe and attended the University of Bangor, Wales for a semester last year. I have an interest in Read more various cultures and would love to teach children about various cultures. I'm responsible and well organized. My hours are flexible and I'm available full time for the summer except for a couple of family weekends and short vacations. I will be attending school again in the fall, but will still remain available around a school schedule.
