My husband and I had not been away for 8 years, as I was so worried about leaving my horses with anyone. One of them has a tendency to colic on occasion and also has a very difficult personality, in addition to being a senior. We really needed to get away, and I was lucky to find Rose. I was as comfortable as I could have possibly been leaving them, and because of her, I was able to enjoy my vacation. I knew that if anything happened, she would be able to handle it. She texted me frequent updates and she did a great job. It rained like crazy, and she kept everything clean and in order. I had asked her to keep the run in shed and paddock mucked, which is no small task in the mud. When I got home, I found no trace of manure at all. It was cleaner than even I would have kept it, as was my house! The only evidence that she had even been there was her bath towel neatly hung up to dry, and my horses' evening beet pulp left to soak and ready to feed. She had even emptied the kitchen and bathroom trash before leaving. Since she cared for my horses, Rose and I have kept in touch and become quite friendly, and I have learned just how much she genuinely cares about animals. I will definitely use her again.
