Hi! I’m Angela, I’m 40 years old and a childcare professional with over 8 years of dedicated experience. I am transitioning from a career in corporate accounting to pursue my other interest and lifelong passion for child development and care. My background includes 5 years at Head Start in Granbury (2 years as an Assistant Teacher for pre-school ages and 3 years as a Lead Teacher in the Infant/Toddler program) and 3 years as the Infant/Toddler Program Director at the Montessori school downtown in Fort Worth. Angela first started working for me as a part-time nanny for my 3mo old daughter. She came 2 days a week with regular hours for about 8-9 months. I no longer need her for those regular hours, but she still babysits my now 5yr old and 2yr old frequently. She was able to manage the ever-changing nap/feeding schedules with ease, and also helped me with keeping up with the laundry, dishes, and tidying. She quickly became a part of our family and also helped me with some odd-jobs around the house. She loves our large dog and whenever she babysits we always come to a cleaner home than when we left! She is eager to please and open to changes and feedback. She is enthusiastic and would do small craft projects with my daughter, take her on walks, play music, etc and avoided screen-time. At the time she started, we also had construction happening in our home, and she was comfortable with workers in/out of the house. Would definitely recommend her and we are keeping her on our babysitter rotation!
