My name is Mandi Baars. I am 19 years old and I am from Inver Grove Heights, MN. I got to the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse for Elementary/Middle Education. For the past 3 years I have been spending my summers as a camp counselor in my hometown. Just this past summer I got to be a lead counselor, which means I took on more responsibility as a leader for kids ages 5-6 and took responsibility for the staff in my room. I managed the kids daily schedules, planned crafts and games, helped direct staff, and dealt with behavioral issues.
