Whether it's answering curious questions during a zoo visit or helping distribute meals at a community food pantry, I enjoy being someone people can rely on. I enjoy being a sitter because fostering a safe and comfortable environment for the next generation is a deeply rewarding process for me. I’ve gained relevant experience for babysitting through my work as a docent at the Santa Barbara Zoo, where I engaged with numerous families and school field trip groups, meaning that I answered a lot of questions from kids. I've also volunteered for several years at the River of Life Church food pantry, where I gained a lot of experience efficiently multitasking and satisfying all the needs of our patrons. I have also undergone EMT training, which means I can remain calm and act quickly in case of emergencies.
