Hello, my name is Bianca. Caring for others has been the heart of my career for more than 25 years. Throughout my professional life, I’ve had the privilege of working as a nanny, preschool teacher, special education assistant and for the past 10 years a private home health aide providing one-on-one care, including hospice care. I began working as a nanny at age 19 while pursuing my education. My passion for helping children learn and grow led me to become a preschool teacher and later a special education assistant. I also completed coursework in Early Childhood Development and earned an Associate Degree in Social Work. Working in private home health strengthened my patience, dependability, communication skills, and ability to remain calm and compassionate in all situations. Those qualities have served me just as well with children as they have with seniors. After relocating to Louisiana, I find myself in a Read more new season of life and am excited to return to working with children. I enjoy helping children learn, explore and build confidence through play, creativity, outdoor activities, reading, homework support and consistent daily routines. As a strong swimmer, I am comfortable actively supervising children in and around swimming pools and participating in swim activities while maintaining close attention to water safety. Families can count on me to be alert, engaged and proactive whenever children are near water. Families often describe me as warm, trustworthy, patient and dependable. I understand the trust parents place in someone caring for their children and strive to create a safe, nurturing and positive environment where children can thrive.
