I am an experienced child development professional with extensive background in social work, child development and family support/coaching. I am a native English speaker but spent almost a decade serving vulnerable children an families in Guatemala and am professionally fluent in Spanish. I am certified in Trauma Competent Caregiving as well as TBRI (Trust Based Relational Intervention) and am passionate about building emotional regulation skills in children and supporting their rapidly growing brain through play, creativity, and healthy attachment. I am a biological mother to a 3 and 4 year old and a foster mom (currently to an infant.) My husband is a first responder (firefighter/medic) so I am “extra” CPR certified as he makes sure I’m brushed up on all my child safety skills.
Trust & safety
We encourage parents to conduct their own screenings using the background check tools. See what each of the badges covered, or learn more about keeping your family safe by visiting the Trust & Safety Center.
