Hi! I’m new to SitterCity but I am by no means new to being a child caregiver. My name is Willow, I am a 25 year-old step mom of 2 wonderful kids, whome are 5 and 3. I have been involved with child care since I was a teenager, babysitting for all mom’s friends, our neighbors, and their younger children. I took a break from caretaking to go to university in Salem, MA, and I worked as a barista through my time there. I moved back to my hometown and became a nanny to a lovely 2 year-old (she is now 4 and has a 5 month old brother!). After this opportunity, I became a nanny to two amazing kids, who are now 7 and 3 respectively, along with being a part-time sitter for my friend’s daughter who is now 4.5. After I moved to Ohio, I took time off Read more to adjust to the incredible experience of parenting my own step-children, and now I am confident and prepared to enter the workforce as a full/part-time nanny! I have experience working with children with disabilities, including Autism, ADHD, etc. with both high and low support needs. I am highly adaptable and willing to learn how to care for any child, along with working with the families to come up with the ways to best support each child as an individual, and the family as a whole! I also have experience with housekeeping, short-distance travel (to/from school/daycare/after-school activities, etc.), and meal prep. I have references available upon request.
