My name is Angie! I’m 22 and come from a big family, being one of the older cousins left me being responsible for my kiddos often. I have experience with 6 month olds - 12+ year olds as I used to work in Swim instruction (GoldFish Swim school) there I had to teach 40+ kids in an 8 hour day, teaching them water safety and main skills (floating, treading, backstroke etc) to ensure they feel safe and secure in the water while showing proper care and empathy to each child. I do have my cpr certification through planet fitness from a more recent position I was in. I love being a sitter because when it comes to children they’re fascinating little beings, full of life and whimsy, I enjoy being able to help enrich not only their smarts but creativity. When it comes to some extra skills, I’m empathetic, I’m quick on my feet, I am able to read tonality and body language very well, helping me evaluate the mood and needs of who Im caring for even when it’s not being verbalized. Being skilled in HTRS(High Ticket remote sales) also enriched my skills in keeping the mood lighthearted while still being assertive — which definitely helps when the kiddos are having a bit of trouble listening, I’m able to reel them back into tasks with little to no trouble.
