Since the age of 16 I have been involved in childcare in some capacity. I started with in home babysitting around my neighborhood, and continued during college, mostly ages 2-6. During my bachelors degree, I worked in several early childcare centers with ages 1-4. I also did an internship in a k-8 school which I loved! Most recently, I worked for the last year in a childrens outpatient clinic while working on my masters in social work. I have to say that I love working with kids in any capacity. I love playing, encouraging creativity through arts and crafts, and I can help with school enrichment when age appropriate. I am most experienced with toddlers, but have cared for young babies as well. I have a lot of experience with positive reinforcement styles, and my care for children is influenced by the research I've done through my academic studies.
