Hi, Folks! Allow me to introduce myself. I'm a 55yr old married mother of 2 highly successful adult children. My husband, Eric is a Master Plumber/Gasfitter & is 58yrs old. We have 2 hound dogs, Clint Eastwood & Josey Wales. I've held a Master Barber/Master Colorist license since 1988 & a Manicurist license since 1994. I left the industry in 2012 but still enjoy the trade. My 31yr old married daughter , Veronica is an esthsican & owns a salon/spa in Perry Hall. Her husband, Colin is a middle school English teacher. My son, Jermey is 27yrs old & is the Trade Developer Manager for Congo Brands for MD & DC. I have 16 nieces & nephews plus a few great & great-greats, too! I've had them all at 1 time or another over the years for sleepovers, wknd visits & extended summer stays. I had 1 of my nephews Read more in my care from age 6 months-4yrs. I've helped as backup daycare for a few of my neighbor's as well as their much deserved parent date nights with sleepovers included! I love children & am very much looking forward to being a grandmother. In the meantime I enjoy spending time with & caring for children. Playing & exploring, doing arts & crafts, singing & dancing, pretend play, dress up play, learning basic life skills, reading, introducing preschool educational activities, outdoor play, going on walks & so much more. I'm CPR & First Aid certified. I've been fingerprinted & have passed a criminal background check with dated documentaion for both. Up to date on all vaccines & am a non-smoker. I am available to provide care in your home or mine. I have a nice home with everything needed (monitors, high chairs, pack & plays, changing station, toys, books, etc) as well as a great backyard. I believe children should be treated with respect & be allowed to express themselves, have their feelings validated all while having set boundaries as they navigate being the little important, special people that they are.
