I hired Wendy to manage a learning pod of 3 first grade boys, mine being the most challenging of the bunch! She did a great job, ensuring the kids stayed on task, reviewing work and making sure they finished their assignments. She was always on time, without fail. She communicated well, letting me and the other parents know how well, or not, the boys behaved. LOL. She also communicated well as to what school assignments may not have been completed. She managed their lunch and recess ensuring hands got washed before lunch and engaging the children in play. She followed my instructions to give the boys rewards for a job well done and encouraged them to "earn it back" if they lost a point for their behavior. She was kind and very patient and did an amazing job for the challenging position she was tasked with. She followed all my COVID requirements including wearing a mask when indoors. I'm only letting her go because we are homeschooling now for COVID reasons. Should we return to the pod, I most certainly will rehire her again.
