Hello! My name is Lydia, and I bring over 10 years of experience working with children in a variety of settings. My childcare journey began with freelance babysitting and volunteering in church nurseries, and later grew into 2+ years of professional experience at One Hope Tulsa, a nonprofit ministry. During my time there, I served as a Children’s Staff Member, where I ran the preschool classroom as a lead teacher and eventually trained new teachers. I also worked as an after-school teacher for 4th and 5th graders, supporting students with homework, creating engaging activities, and building strong connections with parents. I am passionate about creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children to grow. Some of my skills include: • Helping with elementary-aged homework • Play-based learning • Trauma-responsive care and learning • Early literacy and reading support Outside of the classroom, I love spending time at parks, making Read more crafts, and reading stories with kids.
