I’m a college student who truly enjoys working with kids and plans to build a future career in education, especially in the public sector where I can help improve learning opportunities and resources for students. I love being around children and getting to watch them grow, learn, and gain confidence. I’ve been caring for kids for many years, starting with babysitting for teachers in high school, then working in a daycare with toddlers, and now leading my own group of kids in an after-school program at the YMCA. I also have experience working with children with special needs, including autism, ADHD, and Down syndrome, through volunteering in a special education classroom and in my current job. I’m patient, dependable, and comfortable working with kids of all ages and abilities.
