Hi! I’m Tessa. I’ve been babysitting on and off for several years and was SafeSitter certified in 2019. I also have extensive experience working with kids through the YMCA. For the past two summers, I’ve been an overnight camp counselor at YMCA Camp Cheerio in Roaring Gap, responsible for kids 24/7 while creating a fun, safe, and structured environment. Here I led activities for children ages 6-16 and stayed in a cabin with children ages 8-11. I’ve also completed a counselor-in-training summer intensive program, so I’m really comfortable handling different ages, staying organized, and keeping kids engaged. I genuinely love working with kids and would be excited to help out your family! I’m currently a senior attending West Carteret high school and am committed to UNC Chapel Hill, and I’m looking for a steady job from June-September.
