Hi, my name is Marrissa. I’m 26 years old and I’ve been caring for children since I was 13. I started as a babysitter and transitioned into professional nannying after COVID. I now have over 12 years of childcare experience, including 7+ years as a full-time nanny. I’ve worked with many wonderful families, and I still stay connected with several of them for ongoing care and outings. I’m experienced with children of all ages, from infants to preteens, and I enjoy creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where kids can thrive. My most recent nanny family is a family with an 2 1/2 year old boy and I started working with him when he was 11 months old. I would've stayed with this family but school schedule affected my work schedule and I've now sorted out my schooling so it will not affect my daily work schedule. While working with this family and to pay for school I worked with a family with two twin girls age 13 months old as a part time job. During this time I also worked with a family with 2 young boys age 9 months old and 3.5. A previous family I worked with I started when the child was 13 months old- age 3.5. I’m CPR and First Aid certified and have completed coursework in early childhood development. I’m patient, calm, and reliable, and I value strong communication and trust with families. I have reliable transportation, I don't smoke and I have a clean driving record. I have been driving since I was 18 with no history of accidents or tickets. For the majority of the families I have worked with I have drove the kids around, took them on educational adventures, walks, on picnics, visited local storytimes, take children to parks, went to petting farms, pools, swim classes, art classes, I've done little lunch dates, and attended/hosted play dates, and more.
