Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy working with children and helping them grow, learn, and feel supported. I love creating a fun, safe, and positive environment where children can feel comfortable being themselves. I find it rewarding to build connections with children, encourage their curiosity, and be someone their families can trust. As someone pursuing a career in school psychology, I am especially passionate about supporting children's emotional, social, and academic development. What experience do you have? I have experience working with children through my tutoring internship with Reading Partners, where I supported students with their reading development and worked with children with different learning needs. I have also worked in youth programming, where I helped supervise children, organize activities, encourage teamwork, and create engaging experiences. I am currently pursuing my education in psychology with the goal of becoming a Read more school psychologist. My academic background has helped me develop a deeper understanding of child development, behavior, and the importance of creating supportive environments where children can thrive. What skills and training do you have? I have strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, along with patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children. I am comfortable helping children with educational activities, reading, homework, arts and crafts, games, and group activities. My psychology background and pursuit of school psychology have strengthened my understanding of children's developmental, behavioral, emotional, and social needs. I am dependable, attentive, and committed to providing children with a safe, caring, and enjoyable experience while supporting their individual growth and development.
