Hi! I'm an 18 year old babysitter in Kirkland with about 6 years of paid experience caring for kids ages 1–9. I started watching younger cousins and family long before that, just because I loved it — and over time, family friends started asking me to sit for their kids too. Honestly, I do this because I love kids and I love helping people. I grew up with sitters of my own, and the bonds I formed with them genuinely shaped who I am today — I still think about them, and I still keep in touch with some. One thing I'd love to share: I grew up bilingual in English and Japanese, went to Japanese Saturday school, and later volunteered as an assistant teacher at a Japanese school for kids — helping students and supporting the teacher however was needed. I'm so grateful to my mom for raising me with that culture, and I genuinely believe in how important it is for kids to stay connected to their roots. I'd love to work with any family, but if you're Japanese or raising your kids bilingual/bicultural, I'd be especially happy to speak Japanese with them and help keep that language and culture alive at home. A few quick things: I'm a senior in online school so I'm flexible day, evening, or overnight — and easygoing if plans shift, whether you're running late, need me earlier than planned, or end up home sooner than expected. I have my own car, I'm comfortable with multiple kids, pets, sick days, toilet training, homework help, and special needs care, and I'm happy to pitch in with light housekeeping, laundry, or meal prep.
