Hi! I'm Bri, and though I'm just eighteen, I have much experience working with young kids with ages varying from infants to 6 years. Since starting high school, I have been enrolled in classes that have taught me about developments in infants, education of toddlers and school-agers. Growing up, about middle school age, I volunteered in my church's nursery, spending much time with children under the age of one. Sophomore year, I took Child Development, where we took time to run a small preschool within the age range of 2-4; there I had my first-hand experience with teaching and care. In my junior year, I was a student teacher in a 6th grade classroom. After high school before starting college, I worked in a preschool center with toddler aged children as a Floater Teacher. After that, I spent a short time as an assistant kindergarten teacher and will get along Read more very well with Pre-K kids about to start kindergarten. I do not smoke, and I am CPR certified as well as having my Child Care license. I do also have my own car and will be comfortable transporting kids to their activities. Currently I am in school, but only have classes twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday from 7-8:15AM). I don't have a degree just yet, but I am attending school as a Liberal Arts major with wanting to have a career in social work in my adult life. I feel I'm a decent cook, as I can make a pretty good sandwich! Mac and cheese is my specialty, however I'm very open to cooking whatever you please for your children. As for housekeeping, I'm happy to help keep your home clean and ready for when you return home from work.
