My family and I are from NJ, and we are staying at the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village, CA. I have a 21 month old son and a 4 year old. Gail agreed to meet my family at our hotel for an interview and she arrived early. She spoke openly to my children and to me and my husband. We were very comfortable with her. Gail arrived arrived on time for her first shift and she immediately jumped into the routine with the kids. I was worried about my son because he usually takes a few days to adjust to new people. I watched quietly from the side as Gail dressed him. Initially, he started to fuss until Gail turned his fussing into a game. His fussing soon turned into a game.My daughter was very comfortable with Gail too. My daughter is very talkative and immediately started telling Gail about her toys and her day. Gail listened attentively and asked questions. She was able to keep my daughter engaged an excited. Gail also told me that she noticed that my son was swallowing a lot. That was before I told her that he had a poor appetite, a cough and a mild case of acid reflux. That showed me that she was not only friendly and playful with the kids, but attentive to the kid's behaviors. Overall, Gail is kind, reliable, professional, soft spoken, gentle and engaging. I would definitely use Gail again if she is available. I would definitely recommend her to another family and provide a verbal reference if necessary. Nadine Fuller

While we've only had Gail over once, I am looking forward to having her watch and play with my kids often. She is so engaging and natural with kids and both my children really enjoyed meeting her and playing. We have been looking for someone to speak Mandarin with them and I really appreciated how she integrated just enough English to not frustrate my 2 year old, who is a pretty big talker, but also lots of Mandarin. Even after just a few hours my daughter was saying NiHao to our dog and telling my son to go up the stairs slowly in Chinese. Also--Gail was also quick to followup with me, easy to talk to on the phone and very professional.
