Hi! I’m Karlee. I am a sophomore at the University of Mississippi studying Radiological Sciences, and I have a passion for working with children. I have been babysitting since 2015 and have experience caring for children ranging from newborns to 10 years old. I love building positive relationships with kids, helping them learn and grow, and creating a safe, fun environment where they feel comfortable and supported. Why I Love Being a Sitter Being a sitter is more than just a job to me—it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I love getting to know each child’s unique personality, whether that means playing games, helping with homework, reading stories, or simply being someone they can trust and have fun with. Watching children gain confidence and reach new milestones is one of the most rewarding parts of childcare. What Experience Do I Have? In addition to babysitting, I served as a recreational cheerleading coach for children in grades K–5, where I learned how to lead groups of children, encourage teamwork, and create engaging activities. I have also worked as a lifeguard, which strengthened my ability to stay alert, remain calm under pressure, and prioritize safety at all times. What Skills and Training Do I Have? I am CPR certified and have first aid knowledge, giving parents peace of mind that I can respond appropriately in emergency situations. I am patient, dependable, organized, and have strong communication skills. My experience balancing school, work, and extracurricular activities has taught me excellent time management and flexibility. I pride myself on being responsible, trustworthy, and attentive to each family’s individual needs. I look forward to providing dependable care and creating a positive experience for both parents and children!
